Check your sign-in methods when your email address is confirmed

The first sign-in that confirms your email address lists what is set up on your account, to keep or remove. Sign-in links open a Log in page.

Added a check of your sign-in methods when your email address is first confirmed.

  • The first time you sign in with a sign-in link, a password reset link, or Apple, Google, LinkedIn or GitHub before you have confirmed your email address, Magpie confirms the address and lists what is set up on your account: its password, two-factor authentication, passkeys, linked sign-in methods, signed-in apps, API keys, Git credentials, connected services and recent sign-ins. Keep them and continue keeps everything as it is. Remove them removes everything listed and signs out every other session.
  • The link in the email that confirms your address now confirms it only while you are logged in to the account. Opened anywhere else, it asks you to log in first.
  • An account made at a Data Removal checkout is sent that link once the payment goes through.
  • A sign-in link now opens a Log in page naming the account. In the browser where you asked for the link, it logs you in by itself; anywhere else, select Log in.
  • Apple sign-in no longer makes an account from an email address Apple has not verified.
