Corrigé Expenses

Fixed expenses recorded in the wrong currency

The currency of a new expense is shown beside its amount, receipts in the inbox take the team's currency when completed, and 42,18 is read as 42.18.

A receipt uploaded to Receipt Inbox kept the currency the team used on the day it was uploaded, so a receipt uploaded before the team chose euros was completed in dollars. A receipt in the inbox now shows the team's currency until you enter its amount or choose a currency on it. Receipts already in the inbox were changed to work the same way.

On Overview, the currency is now beside the amount under Add an expense. It starts as the team's currency, and the line under Amount says where that currency is chosen. Choose another currency for an expense paid in one. Tax, a payment method, a project, reimbursement and notes are added on the expense's page, and Recently added lists the newest expense first.

An amount typed with a decimal comma, such as 42,18 or 1.234,50, is now read correctly; 42,18 was saved as 4,218. A currency sign or code typed with an amount has to match the chosen currency, so $42 with EUR chosen is refused rather than saved as €42. An amount that could be read two ways, such as 1.234, is refused with a message saying how to type it. The assistant reads amounts the same way and asks which currency when a sign such as $ could mean more than one.

Expenses settings named Invoicing settings as the source of the currency; it now names the team page, or Account settings in Personal. Changing an expense's currency keeps the amount as written, including between currencies with and without cents when the amount has none. A recurring expense's currency can now be changed. In the mobile app, the currency can be chosen when adding an expense and changed when editing one.
