A push to main deploys at once, and a push to a dev/ branch deploys its dev site; deleting a dev/ branch removes its dev site from the push event alone, so GitHub only needs to send pushes. The PHP unit tests still run on every push but no longer hold a deploy back. DEPLOY_TRIGGER=tests in the webhook's environment brings back waiting for them. The webhook also tells its builds apart by their contents rather than by file number, which Linux reuses. See deployment/webhook/README.md.
Changed deploys to start on push again
The deploy webhook deploys a pushed commit straight away, as it did before October 2026; DEPLOY_TRIGGER=tests makes it wait for the PHP unit tests instead.
