Amélioré Walkie Talkie

Walkie Talkie has one Live switch

A conversation's Live switch now does both halves of talking live: you hear others as they talk, and the Talk button talks live.

In a Walkie Talkie conversation, on the website and in the Magpie app:

  • Live, beside the conversation's name, replaces Hear live talk and the Record, then send or Live choice above the Talk button. With Live on, you hear others as they talk and the Talk button says Hold to talk live, with how many people are listening. With it off, messages arrive as recordings and yours is sent when you let go, with Undo. Walkie Talkie remembers whether you left Live on in each conversation.
  • The line above the Talk button no longer explains the button. It shows who is talking, the Undo countdown, Play unheard and the player.
  • Your messages and other people's have the same plain bubble, on their own sides. The Play button keeps one look, and a message you have not heard is marked Not heard with a red dot.
  • In the Magpie app, the Talk button has the same red edge as on the website.

A conversation's Talk starts as setting is now Live for people who join.
