The Open portal button in an invitation email now signs the client in, once, within 7 days. Before, it opened the sign-in page, which sent a second email whose link opened a page with one more button.
Clients stay signed in until they sign out, you revoke their access, or 365 days pass without a visit. To sign in again or on another device, a client enters their address at the portal and gets an email with a link and a six-digit code. The link signs in the device the email is read on; the code can be entered on the device that asked for it.
On the sign-in page, a client can also log in with a Magpie account, or sign up for one, and use it instead of email. The account only signs them in: it does not join your team or see anything else of yours. The Clients band shows when each client last visited.
