A suspended website says why
When Magpie suspends a website that breaks the rules, every address answers not found, the website's page shows the reason to its team, and the team's admins are emailed once.
Website Builder is now Websites
The area is called Websites, because it now holds websites built in the editor and websites made of your own files. Its address and your websites are unchanged.
Take an editor website with you as files
Download as files gives a website built in the editor as a ZIP of static files, and Switch to your own files turns it into a files website you change by uploading.
Host a website from your own files
Upload the HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other files of a website you already have. It is online at a Magpie address at once, every change is a version you can restore, and your own domain can point at it.
Your domain says the same thing everywhere, and answers at www
The DNS page, the Mail domain page and every Custom domain page now say the same thing about a domain, and connecting a whole domain also answers at its www address.
Screenshots on the Proposals page
The public Proposals page now shows a client's proposal page and the proposal editor, with a fictional example.
Proposals are readable in dark mode
In dark mode, some labels on a proposal's white page were pale grey and hard to read. They now print dark, like the rest of the proposal.
Prices show their currency sign and commas
Prices on proposals, Store, Accounting and other pages read like $1,234.50 again, instead of USD 1234.00.
Send reminder asks before emailing
**Send reminder** on a sent proposal now names the signers it will email and asks before anything is sent.
Import a game or a page of HTML into a website
Website import now takes an html section with its own code, and a whole page of HTML pasted in place of JSON, such as a game an assistant wrote.
Added the Websites specification
Internal: docs/specs/WEBSITES.md specifies websites made of uploaded files, one Websites area for both kinds of website, and one domain status across DNS, Mail and Websites.
Move a static site to Trash
A static site's page now has Move to Trash in its More menu, beside the site's name.
