Add collaborator in Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Design Canvas and Forms, Share on a To-do List, and Collaborators on a Git repository in the app now send an invitation to someone who is not on the team. Once they accept, they join the team as a guest who can open that record and nothing else of the team, and the record is listed in its area when that team is selected. Invitations not answered yet are listed as Invited, waiting, with Cancel.
A guest of the team is added at once. Removing someone from the last record they have in a team also removes them from the team, and the confirmation says so. Only people who can edit a record through its team can share it. People you had already shared records with keep them, as guests of the team.
Moving a spreadsheet, deck, Design or document to another team takes the people it is shared with along; the move is refused when that team has no room for more guests. In Presentations, sharing is now the Share button in the page bar.
