Changelog

New Connected apps

Connect Claude, ChatGPT and other apps to Magpie

Added Connected apps: connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another app that connects to tools, choose what it can use, and disconnect it in Account settings.

Improved Invoicing

Paying an invoice emails a receipt and keeps it in a Magpie account

Someone who pays an invoice online now gets a receipt by email and a record of the payment in a Magpie account.

Improved Account

Dashboard says how an account made for you signs in

An account without a password no longer reads as one that cannot sign in again.

Improved Proposals

Sending a proposal or a signature request needs a confirmed email address

To send a proposal or a document for signing, your own email address must now be confirmed.

Fixed Websites

Restoring a website version keeps links to a page that moves

When restoring an earlier version moves a page back to its earlier address, links to it follow and its other address sends visitors on.

Fixed Store

The app applies a discount code you typed before payment

A discount code typed in the cart is applied before you take payment, and the app shows the new total first.

Fixed Store

The app's shipping editor keeps every kind of method

Pickup, local delivery and rates by weight or order amount can be renamed in the app without being changed, and a method that is free over an order amount keeps its price below it.

Fixed Store

Wishlists work on a Store with its own domain

A shopper who signs in to save a product stays on the Store's Magpie address and can save it.

Fixed Store

Product feeds send each variant's barcode as its GTIN

Google and Meta product feeds now include a variant's barcode when it is a UPC, EAN or ITF-14.

Fixed Meetings

Rescheduling a meeting moves its Zoom meeting

A rescheduled meeting's Zoom meeting now moves to the new time, so the Zoom invitation agrees with the calendar.

Fixed Connected apps

Assistant and connected apps: every tool keeps to the team it works in

Internal: an audit of the assistant's 185 write tools and 78 read tools against the website's pages, with its gaps closed.

Fixed Platform

Fixed messages hidden behind an open drawer

Fixed: a message for a change made in a side drawer, such as a switch in Edit details, was shown behind the drawer and could not be seen.

New Outreach

Outreach: Stop all sending

Added a Sending band at the top of the Outreach page with Stop all sending, which holds every campaign in the team at once until a team admin starts sending again.

New Outreach

Outreach: Get started

Added Get started to the Outreach page: the steps to a first campaign, each with a button, until a campaign has started in the team.

Improved Store

Store emails in the buyer's own language

A buyer with a Magpie account who chose their own language now gets a Store's emails about their order in that language, and every line of a translated email is translated.

Improved Account

Account settings in French, Spanish and German

With Your language set to French, Spanish or German, Account settings and the search over every setting are in that language.

Improved Outreach

Outreach: Help for the sending server

Added a Help article on the sending server: what the server needs, the steps on the page, what the setup does, what to do when it stops, and removing the server. How Outreach sends names the server as a route.

New Outreach

Outreach: Magpie sets the sending server up

Pressing Start on the Sending server page now does the work: Magpie signs in to the server once as root, checks it, installs and configures Postfix with a certificate and a firewall, tests sending through it, hands the route to Outreach, then removes its key from the server and destroys its own copy. In preview for site administrators.

Improved Account

The sidebar, menus and error pages in French, Spanish and German

With Your language set to French, Spanish or German, the sidebar, the bar at the top of every page, the account menu, Search and error pages are in that language.

New Documents

Size and place pictures in Documents, and keep the pictures in Word files

Drag a picture's corner to resize it, put it at the left, centre or right, and let text run beside it. Imported Word and OpenDocument files keep their pictures.
