Changed deploys to start on push again
The deploy webhook deploys a pushed commit straight away, as it did before October 2026; DEPLOY_TRIGGER=tests makes it wait for the PHP unit tests instead.
Your name can be a single letter
Signing up, including with Google, and changing your name no longer need a name of two or more characters.
Fixed the deploy webhook never being rebuilt
Deploys now find Go outside the service's PATH, install a new webhook build only after it passes --check, and the webhook starts that build itself once its queue is empty.
Added dev sites for dev/ branches
A pushed dev/{name} branch whose checks pass can be served at {name}.dev.magpie.diy, on the live database. They stay off until the server is set up.
Recent work, Search and Unread mail rows work like other lists
Rows in Recent work, Search results and Dashboard's Unread mail are built like rows in every other list. A screen reader reads each row by its title.
Rows on settings lists open from a click anywhere on the row
Issues automations, custom fields, milestones, public forms, saved views and webhooks now open from a click anywhere on a row. Their buttons still work on their own.

Rows in Documents, Websites, Forms, Podcasts, Flashcards and several other lists now open from a click anywhere on the row.
Duplicate, archive and delete a Design file from its More menu
A Design file's editor has a More menu with Move to another team, Duplicate and Archive. An archived file has Restore and Delete Design there instead.
Duplicate and delete a presentation from its More menu
A presentation's editor has a More menu with Import JSON, Move to another team, Duplicate and Delete presentation. The Presentations list no longer has Duplicate or Delete on each row.
Delete a spreadsheet from its File menu
To delete a spreadsheet, open it and choose File, then Delete spreadsheet. The Spreadsheets list no longer has Delete on each row.
Rows in lists open from a click anywhere on the row
In lists such as Idea Boards, Kanban Boards and Your teams, a click anywhere on a row now opens it, not only a click on its name.
Switch off Unread mail or To-dos on Dashboard
Account settings has a Dashboard section with a switch for each of the Unread mail and To-dos lists.
Fixed names in some lists that did not open their page
In Idea Boards and several other lists, a row's name now opens its page, as the link at the right of the row does.
PDF Workspace is now called PDF Editor
PDF Workspace is now PDF Editor. Its address is still /pdf, and its tools work as before.
Idea Workspaces are now called Idea Boards
Idea Workspaces are now Idea Boards, at /idea-boards. Links to the old addresses open the same page at its new one.
Moving a Note checks the destination's Note limit
A Note can be moved to Personal or another team only when that destination's plan has room for another Note.
Pinching an Idea Workspace no longer enlarges the whole page
On an iPad, a pinch that started on the tools or the zoom buttons could enlarge the whole page, and the page could not be pinched back. It now leaves the page as it is.
Delete an Idea Workspace from its More menu
Deleting an Idea Workspace is now in More at the top of the workspace, so the list no longer has a red Delete button beside every Open.
Removed script-error reporting from Idea Workspaces
Internal: removed the /browser-error endpoint, BrowserErrorReport and browser-error-report.js.
