Waveforms on podcast recorder take blocks
The red take blocks on the podcast recorder's timeline showed a number and a duration for each take, but no sense of what was actually said or where the quiet stretches were.

The page at a recording's share link was a box inside a box inside a box, with a full-width Download button as the biggest thing on it. It is now built around the recording itself, and a still frame from the recording is used as the page's opening image and as the thumbnail when the link is pasted into a chat app.
The Download recording button was small for the page's main action, and while a long recording transcoded server-side the button just sat on a static "Preparing download…" with no sign it was still working.
Watching a shared portrait (9:16) recording pillarboxed it into a fixed 16:9 landscape player, leaving it small.
Scrubbing the recording editor's timeline worked anywhere along the track, but visually it looked like you had to land exactly on the thin red playhead line.
Editing a portrait (9:16) screen recording squeezed it into a fixed 16:9 landscape frame, leaving it tiny and hard to place images on.
Enlarging an image overlay on a recording could stretch it past the edge of the frame, and only then would saving fail with an error.
Deleting a recording from the list always failed with an error, no matter which recording you picked.
Some failures on the screen recordings page never showed up anywhere for us to investigate, even though you saw an error.
Deleting a recording from the list could fail with a confusing error message instead of removing it, and any server error on that page was shown to you verbatim.
Images added in the recording editor kept their shape on the share page but were stretched to fill their box in a downloaded MP4. They now match.
The booking page, public calendar and podcast page links at the bottom of the left-hand navigation have been removed.
The selected image's settings now sit next to the video, you set how long it stays on screen rather than when it ends, and timeline blocks can be dragged again.
Image edits in the recording editor stay local until you click Save, with a warning before leaving if you have not.
The selected image's times and layer controls now stay in a right-hand panel on more screen sizes instead of dropping to a row below the timeline.
A link card in the Ideas workspace now opens the right page even when it was typed as "example.com" instead of "https://example.com".
Removed two explanatory lines under Screen position and Camera side that repeated what the option already said.
A new Edit action lets you place images over a recording at chosen times, without changing the original file.
The screen recorder can now put your camera in a half or third of the frame instead of a small bubble.
Every public page carries a preview card, so a link posted to Bluesky, X, Slack or iMessage shows what it is.
