Accounting pages, confirmation messages, errors and the Accounting Help article are shorter. Errors about bank statement files, statement rows, archived accounts and voiding bills now say how to fix the problem.
Corrected descriptions:
- Invoices, payments, expenses, sales and Stripe payouts are added to the books when Accounting is opened, not as they happen.
- Activity lists changes to the books and who made each one. Starting, cancelling and ticking a reconciliation are not listed.
- A bill with no invoice payment terms is due after 30 days.
- The Banking account limit applies only to the Free plan.
- The lock date can be today or an earlier date.
- Changing opening balances reverses the earlier entry and posts the new amounts.
- Activity names a changed detail type and number rather than internal field names.
