Android draws notification icons as a single-colour shape. Magpie notifications used the full app icon, which showed as a plain white square in the status bar. They now show the Magpie M, in red in the notification shade.
On Android 13 and later, when Themed icons is turned on, the Magpie icon now takes the system's colours like other themed apps.
