The theme control has moved out of Account settings and into the identity menu, so you can change the look from any page and watch it happen. On System, Magpie now follows the device while the page is open instead of only at page load.
Dark mode also reaches the places it previously missed: books and the book reader, status badges, the API reference, the bookings table, the calendar and the public homepage panels. Behind that, every surface in the app now names a shared colour rather than a fixed one, so a section added later is dark from the start rather than waiting for someone to notice it is not.
