Double-click text to edit it directly on the canvas, or change it in the Design Inspector. The Layers panel now marks the selected Layer more clearly, the status bar explains what the active tool expects, and selection-dependent controls remain unavailable until they can be used. Shape and Line tools show a preview while you drag. Pen operations save in order so a new path exists before its later points are applied.
