Choose Templates in Design to start a new file from a ready-made layout. There are 16 to choose from: announcement, quote and sale posts, an event story, a video thumbnail and a profile banner; an event flyer, a poster, a business card, an invitation and a certificate; a newsletter header and a résumé; and a sign-in screen, a landing page wireframe and a dashboard wireframe. Each opens as an ordinary Design file with every word, colour and shape editable. New Design still opens a blank file.
Empty image areas in a template show a picture outline while you edit. Double-click one, or choose Choose image in the Inspector, to fill it. Replace image swaps a picture in any image Layer and keeps its size and fit.
A team administrator can turn on Team template in a file's Share Design drawer to list it under the team's templates. Using a team template creates a separate copy.
Design home and the templates page show previews that include each file's text, gradients and borders.
