Improved Flashcards

Flashcards preview: Due today, one line per card, and study that keeps your place

In the Flashcards administrator preview, Study is now Due today, a deck's cards are a table with one line per card, Flashcards, Cram and Quiz continue where you left off, making a deck Public asks first, and an import preview can include or leave out every card at once.

In the Flashcards administrator preview:

  • The Study page is now Due today, at /flashcards/due. Old links to /flashcards/study open it.
  • A deck's cards are a table: Front and Back are named once above the columns, and each card is one line with its number and both sides. A second line appears only when a card has more to show, such as its type when it is not Basic, its tags or a warning; cards no longer each show Add tags.
  • Move up, Move down and Add tags are in each card's More menu, alongside its other options. Dragging by the handle still works.
  • The import preview and a shared deck's page use the same table.
  • Flashcards, Cram and Quiz keep your place in this browser after every answer. Leaving or reloading continues where you were, and Start over begins again.
  • Setting a deck's Sharing to Public asks you to confirm first.
  • The import preview has Include all, and says how many cards will be imported. The import button is off while no card is ticked.
  • Add card says which deck the card goes to, and a new card is scrolled into view.
