In the synth canvas trial for website admins, each panel's edge is again a thin dark rim with a light upper-left edge, a shaded lower-right edge and a soft shadow inside, and the rails between modules are the earlier shade. The thicker metal lip and darker rails from the previous change are taken out; the finer dirt, plug strain reliefs, distinctive modules, finishes and larger hero from that change stay. Nothing changes for anyone else.
Front page synthesizer trial: the thinner panel edge is back
In the admin-only ?try=synth front page, panels return to the earlier thin bevel instead of the thick metal lip.
