In the synth canvas trial for website admins, the tool list starts with about forty patch cables instead of twenty. A tool can hold two cables at a time there, since forty cables need more ends than forty-eight tools could hold one each; the normal front page keeps its five cables and one per tool. Nothing changes for anyone else.

In the admin-only ?try=synth front page, the tool list carries about forty patch cables, and a tool can take two at once.
