In the synth canvas trial for website admins, the controls on each module are now inline SVG parts with gradients, shadows and highlights instead of flat CSS shapes: hex-nut jacks, domed LEDs with a glow and some unlit, two-part knobs whose pointers turn by whole ticks, faders with rulers and coloured caps, and vents. Each tool draws one of eight control layouts chosen from its name, so some have three jacks, some two knobs, some a column of LEDs and one a lone knob. Screws are round with slots at angles that differ from panel to panel. The patch cables are thicker with a gloss and a deeper shadow, and their plugs are shaded and sit on each tool's drawn jack. Nothing changes for anyone else.
