Cables between tools on the front page

The tool list on the front page shows cables plugging tools into each other, the way patch cables join modules on a synthesizer.

On the front page, each tool in the list has a socket in its corner, and each group of tools starts with one cable plugged between two of them. One end at a time is pulled out and plugged into another tool on screen: the plug travels, the cable hangs and settles, then stays a while. A tool shows its colour while a cable is plugged into it.

The cables sit over the list and do not get in the way of opening a tool. Nothing moves while the list is off screen or the tab is hidden. With reduced motion turned on in the system settings, the cables hang still.

The list's heading now says that the tools connect to each other.
