- Lock in the rail locks the selected items in place, or unlocks them. On a touch screen, press and hold an item to open its menu, which has Lock position too. A locked item shows a lock, and dragging it moves the canvas.
- Line stopped the canvas moving until a line was finished, which on an iPad without a keyboard was easy to get stuck in. A tap on empty canvas, a second tap on the first item, or Cancel in the message at the top now stops it.
- The handle for an item's width is on its right edge when the item is selected, and is the same size on screen at any zoom, so a finger can catch it.
- Two quick taps on the canvas no longer write a note; the Note tool does that on a touch screen, and double-click still does with a mouse. A new note left without any text is removed.
- The delete button on an item can only be pressed once the item is selected, so a tap on an item's corner no longer deletes it.
Idea Workspaces work better on an iPad
Lock items from the rail, leave the Line tool with a tap, resize items with a bigger handle, and stop getting stray notes from taps.
