Image Converter has been reorganised. Single image, Batch and Converted images are now three separate pages instead of tabs and lists stacked on one screen, and each links to the others from the page bar.
On the single-image page, everything that changes what is framed — the crop ratio, the exact X, Y, width and height, rotate and flip — is now one toolbar directly under the picture, with larger icons. Output size, format, quality and the file-size limit sit beside it. Choosing a size preset now sets the crop to the same shape and says so, so the page no longer shows two different aspect ratios at once.
The crop frame now lines up with the image at wide window widths, where it previously appeared to sit off to the left. Rotating no longer throws your crop away: it turns with the picture and keeps framing the same content, and flipping mirrors it rather than cropping the opposite side.
The collapsed "Enter crop values", "Exact size" and "Maximum file size" sections have gone; their controls are simply on the page. Making more than one file from a picture is now "Add another version", named by the filename it produces instead of a browser pop-up asking for a name, and the versions list only appears once there is a second one. The Preview button has been removed — Download and Save copy to Magpie do the conversion and report the result.
Recent conversions is now the Converted images page, which lists everything you have converted rather than the last twelve.
