Invoicing settings has a Tax rates page. Each rate has a name, such as HST or VAT, and a percentage with up to four decimal places. A rate can combine two taxes, such as GST and PST, and a component can be compound. One rate can be chosen for new items.
In the invoice editor, each item has a Tax choice instead of one tax rate for the whole invoice. The discount is taken off before tax, and the invoice, its PDF and the mobile app show each tax separately. Item quantities can have up to four decimal places.
Amounts are now calculated and stored in whole cents. A team's previous default tax rate and each rate used on an existing invoice became named rates such as "Tax 13%". The mobile app has the same Tax rates screen and a Tax choice on each item.
