New Mail

Folders, snooze and original messages in Mail

Mail has folders you make, snooze, filters and order for lists, Empty Trash and Empty Spam, View original with .eml download, and adding a sender to Contacts.

Added folders to Mail. Choose New folder under the folders, and put folders inside other folders up to four levels deep. Select a folder's name at the top of its list to rename it; More beside the name moves or deletes it. Deleting a folder moves its messages to Trash. Move a message with Move to above it, with the actions for ticked messages, or by dragging it onto a folder.

Added Snooze above a message. A snoozed message is in Snoozed until the chosen time, then returns to Inbox, unread.

Added two lists under the search box: one shows all messages, unread messages or messages with attachments; the other orders them newest or oldest first, unread first, by sender, by subject or largest first. An open message lists the other messages in its conversation under it.

Added Empty Trash and Empty Spam, and Delete permanently for ticked messages in Trash and Spam. Deleting permanently removes the message's text, attachments and original.

Added View original and headers and Download as .eml to More above a message. Mail keeps the original of messages received or sent from this change on; earlier messages have none. More can also add the sender to Contacts in the selected Personal or team context, and In Contacts beside a sender opens their contact.

Mailbox storage counts a new message at its size as received or sent.
