The room now shows large recording controls for starting, pausing, resuming, and stopping a take. Once a take is finished, it offers file downloads, online editing, and another take. A take is saved audio within a recording session; using it in a published episode is a later step.
When everyone has left a recording idle for 30 minutes, returning to the room can close the take at the last observed activity and finish it with the audio Magpie has received. An incomplete track is marked so you can see that its ending may be missing. The original uploaded audio remains available.
