New Git Repositories

Public Git repositories show their commit history

A public repository's page links to its full commit history, and every repository's Commits page shows all of its commits, a page at a time.

A public Git repository's page now shows how many commits it has after the last commit. Select it to open the history at /g/<team>/<repository>/commits, which anyone can read without signing in: each commit's message, author, date and short ID, newest first, 30 to a page.

Commits on a repository's own page now lists every commit, 30 to a page with Previous and Next, instead of only the latest 100, with one compact line per commit.
