On the page of a product without options, click its Price to change it. It is checked as on Price and inventory: it must be above zero, below any compare-at price and at least any pay-what-you-want minimum.
The link to Price and inventory is now named Edit prices, stock and barcodes, and the line beside it shows the product's stock.
