Walkie Talkie keeps voice and text messages in one timeline for a direct conversation, a group or a team channel.
- Live: hold Talk and people with live listening on hear you as you speak. The transmission is saved as you talk and becomes a message everyone can play later.
- Record, then send: nobody hears the recording until you send it. A recording waiting to send is kept on your device until it has been sent.
- Only one person talks at a time. Channels can have a queue to speak and let people with priority interrupt.
- Messages play at the speed you choose and continue where you stopped. Play unheard plays what you have not heard, and you can save a message or a moment in one.
- Invite someone outside your team by email or link. They need a free account and see only their conversation with you.
Walkie Talkie is open to site administrators and to the people they invite. It is not in the Magpie app yet.
