Change notification settings in the mobile app

In the Magpie app, open More and choose Notification settings.

Slack

When Slack is connected, Slack destinations has a Channel and a Direct message recipient; choose No channel or No direct messages to send none there. Under Slack notifications, switch on the meeting changes to send: New meetings, Meeting confirmed, Meeting cancelled, Meeting rescheduled and Zoom link added. Each choice is saved when you make it, and a channel or person is checked against Slack as it is saved.

Connect Slack, or change its connection, on the website in Integrations; see Send meeting notifications to Slack.

Alerts on this device

When you allow the Magpie app to send notifications, the device is registered for alerts, and the screen shows Registered or Not registered for this device. On Android, each kind of alert is a separate category in the device's notification settings for Magpie: Chat, Social Media, Staff Scheduling, Store orders, Store stock, Daily Operations and Walkie Talkie, so one can be turned off or made quieter on its own. To stop every alert, turn off notifications for Magpie in the device's settings. The message sound, unread marks and muted people are set in Account settings; see Chat notifications and read receipts.
