Daily Operations now works with Inventory for what a location makes and throws away.
- Recipes list the Inventory items, or other recipes, that go into what you make, with what it costs from each item's average cost or its supplier's price. Recipes are published as versions, and each batch keeps the version it used.
- Prep shows the batches planned for a day at a location, what they need from stock against what is available, and how much to make to reach the par level set in Inventory.
- Recording what was made takes the ingredients out of stock, scaled to what was made, and adds the made item with a batch code and use-by time.
- Log waste from Today, Prep or Waste. Each entry takes the stock out of Inventory once and shows its cost; Waste totals it by reason and item, with a CSV download.
Daily Operations and Inventory are Coming soon and only Magpie administrators can open them.
