A Link-In-Bio List is a single public page of links, for the one address a social profile gives you. It belongs to Personal or the team selected when you create it, and there is one list for each. The area has four tabs: Links (the list itself), Settings, Appearance and Analytics. View page in the page bar opens the public page.

Open Link-In-Bio List and choose Create your list to start. A new list starts unpublished.

Blocks

Everything on the page is a block. Add blocks from the row at the top of the list:

  • Add link asks for a title and an address, and an optional description shown under the title.
  • Add heading adds a label that groups the blocks under it.
  • Add text adds a line of writing between blocks.
  • Add divider adds a rule straight away.

Reorder blocks by dragging or with the arrow buttons on each row. The swatch on a link's row gives that link its own background colour; × beside it returns the link to the page's button style. Remove asks first, then deletes the block from the list; there is no undo.

On the website, a block cannot be edited or hidden once it is added: remove it and add it again, or edit it in the native app, or replace the list by pasting JSON (Build a links list by pasting JSON). A hidden block keeps its click count and is not shown on the public page.

A Magpie page block links to your own Store, Supporters page or Website, so the address stays right if any of them moves. It is added from the native app, the assistant or a JSON import, and only when that destination is published.

Settings

Settings holds everything that is not a block.

Page address:

  • Address is the public URL. Copy it into a social profile bio.
  • Custom domain shows the list at a domain you own, such as links.example.com, instead. Team admins connect one; see Show your Link-In-Bio List at your own domain.
  • Published decides whether anyone outside your team can open the page.
  • Slug is the last part of the address. Changing it breaks every copy of the old address already shared.
  • QR code opens a printable code for the same address.
  • Share opens your device's share options, or a box to copy the address.

Profile: Picture (chosen from Your images), Display name and Description are the header of the page. Preview text is what appears under the title when the page is shared or found in search; your description is used when it is empty.

Social profiles

Under Social profiles, choose a network, paste the address of your profile there and choose Add social profile. Each network can appear once, and each is drawn as its own mark in a row under your name rather than as a full-width block.

The networks are Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Bluesky, Facebook, LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitch, Discord, Spotify, and Apple Music, plus Website and Email for anything else. Email accepts a plain address and turns it into a mailto: link.

Analytics

Analytics shows page views, total link clicks, and clicks per view, then Clicks by link. These are counts only: nothing is recorded about individual visitors, and visits from your own team are not counted. A link's count starts when the link is created, so a link added last week and one added today are not comparable.

Appearance and importing

How the page looks is set on Appearance; see Design your Link-In-Bio List. To build or replace a whole list in one step, choose More in the page bar, then Import JSON; see Build a links list by pasting JSON.

In the native app

The native app can create the list, change its address, display name, description, preview text and picture, publish or unpublish it, and manage social profiles. Add, at the top of the list, starts on a link: enter its title and address (example.com is enough). To add a heading, text, a divider or a Magpie page instead, change Block type. A block's action menu edits, duplicates, moves, hides or shows, and deletes it, and Link colour sets or clears its colour. Appearance offers the preset choices and custom colours. Share published page in the Links action menu shares the list's address, which is its own domain once that domain is live (Show your Link-In-Bio List at your own domain). Editors can read the analytics, with links ordered by clicks.

If your list will not publish, or the public address shows the wrong page, Contact support.
