Contact support
Write to Magpie support in Chat, or use the Contact form when you cannot sign in.
When you are signed in, choose Contact support in the account menu, in the web app or the mobile app's More screen, or Chat with support at the end of any Help article or the Help drawer. It opens your conversation with Magpie support in Chat, with the message box ready to type in. A green note at the start of the conversation says it is your conversation with Magpie support. Only you and the Magpie team can read it; team channels such as General are read by your team, not by Magpie. There is one support conversation, kept for as long as you have the account, so earlier questions and answers stay above the new one. It is listed under Support in Chat in every team.
The Magpie team is told when you open the conversation, and each of them sees your messages in their own Chat as you send them. Anyone on the Magpie team can reply, and their messages carry a Magpie label that no one else can use. You can attach screenshots and files as in any conversation, and a reply arrives like any other message, including as a notification in the mobile app.
If you cannot sign in, use the Contact link in the site footer, or Contact support at the end of any Help article, instead.
Either way, include:
- the page address where the problem happened;
- what you were trying to do;
- what happened instead;
- the exact error message, if one appeared; and
- whether the problem happens again after reloading the page.
Do not send a password, two-factor recovery code, API key, payment card number, or a private customer download link. For a billing or order question, include the invoice or order number rather than payment credentials.
If you can still sign in, say whether Personal or which team was selected. That often determines where a missing resource belongs.
