Your meeting page lists your Meeting Types and the times people can choose. Its address is made from your handle, which you change in Account settings (see Your public profile and account details). Meetings shows the address with a copy button and View page, your next upcoming meetings, and links to Availability and Meeting types.

Turn it on

A new account has no Meeting Types and no availability, so its meeting page is off. Visitors who open the address see that the page was not found. You can still open it while signed in; it shows the steps that remain, and Meetings lists them under Meeting page setup.

The page opens to visitors once you have both:

  1. At least one weekly availability range.
  2. At least one active Meeting Type.

Then check the account time zone, open the page while signed out, and schedule a test meeting. Send meeting page in the page bar of Meetings appears once the page is open; see Request a meeting.

To turn the page off again, deactivate or delete your Meeting Types, or delete your availability. Visitors then see that the page was not found. Existing meetings are not affected.

What visitors see

The page opens with your picture, name and bio, and tabs for Meetings and Calendar, your public calendar (see Create public and private calendar events). Each active Meeting Type is a row with its description and length. A visitor opens one, chooses a day from the month, then one of that day's times, and enters their name and email address. A phone number and notes are optional. When text reminders are on, a visitor with a US or Canadian number can also ask for a text reminder (see SMS meeting reminders). A time that is taken or blocked is shown but cannot be chosen.

The page shows dates and times in the visitor's time zone, taken from their browser. The line above the calendar and the times names that zone; choosing the zone opens a list to change it. The line also names your time zone when it differs. The selected time and the confirmation page show the time in the visitor's zone and in yours. The visitor's confirmation email uses their zone; your notification uses yours.

After someone books

The visitor sees a confirmation page and gets an email with a calendar file (.ics). To cancel or move the meeting, the email asks them to email you; they cannot change it themselves. You get an email with the meeting, a calendar file and Confirm meeting. Change, confirm or cancel the meeting from All Meetings; see Manage meetings.

Your name, picture and bio

The page uses the same name, profile picture, handle and bio as the rest of your Magpie identity. Change them in Account settings, not on the meeting page. When you open your own page while signed in, Edit in Magpie opens Meetings, or Meeting Types from a Meeting Type's page.

If the page has no times, see Availability and Meeting Types. If a time remains unavailable after those checks, Contact support.
