Coaching goals
Agree goals with a client, choose how each is measured, and follow their progress.
Goals are what a client's coaching works toward. Each is agreed with your client and measured in the way that suits it.
Goals
Choose Add goal. A new goal is Proposed until you agree it together: open it and choose Agree goal. On the goal's page, choose how it is measured:
- A number, such as hours of deep work, with a unit, a start and a target. It can follow the latest value, or add up every value recorded.
- A rating from 0 to 10, such as confidence speaking in meetings.
- Done or not, which you mark achieved.
- Five levels, from much less to much more than expected. Write what each level would look like for this client.
You and your client record values on the goal's page. The chart shows them against the target and any milestones, and a milestone with a value is reached when a value gets there. A goal you no longer pursue can be dropped, with a reason your client sees; dropping keeps what was recorded.
Your pages say Behind when a goal with a target date has fallen well behind the time passed. Your client never sees that word.
