A sponsor, such as a client's employer, follows their coaching from its own Client Portal and sees only what the client agrees to share.

Sponsors

A sponsor is an organization in Contacts that follows a client's coaching, such as their employer. In Edit details, choose the Sponsor, then the Sponsor contact: someone at the organization with an email address. The organization's Client Portal is made if it has none, and the sponsor contact is invited to it.

Naming the sponsor contact also gives them a Magpie account at their email address, or uses the one they already have, so the organization's portal is listed on their Magpie Dashboard. Their invitation says which. Someone already in the organization's portal is not invited again; they get the account without an email. The account does not join your team. Your own email address must be confirmed before you can name a sponsor contact, and the organization's portal must not be archived, with its Client sign-in on.

In its portal, the sponsor sees the client's name, the coach and the dates, and the sessions held while {Sponsor} sees sessions held is on. It sees a goal or a progress review only when the client shares it. On a goal or a shared review, Ask to share with {sponsor} asks the client, who approves or declines it in their portal, and can withdraw it at any time. A goal marked Not for {sponsor} is never shared or asked for. Notes, the journal, check-ins, exercises and messages are never shown to the sponsor.

Who pays can be the sponsor, before coaching starts: the invoices then go to the sponsor contact and are shared in the organization's portal. A session type marked three-way invites the sponsor contact to its sessions too.

On the first of each month, the people in the sponsor's portal are emailed what changed last month in what they see: coaching started or ended, sessions held, and goals or reviews shared, as counts. Nothing is sent in a month with no change.
