Integrations
Connect Google Calendar, Zoom, Slack and SMS reminders to your meetings, and see each connection's status.
Integrations, under Meetings, connects other services to your meetings. A connection is part of your account, not of Personal or a team. Each service has its own section, which starts with its connection state and Connect or Disconnect. Disconnecting asks you to confirm first.
| Section | What it does | Article |
|---|---|---|
| Google Calendar | Shows Google events on your Calendar, adds meetings and Calendar events to Google, and blocks Google busy times on your meeting page. | Connect Google Calendar |
| Zoom | Creates a Zoom call for each new meeting. | Connect Zoom |
| Slack | Posts meeting notifications to a Slack channel, a direct message, or both. | Send meeting notifications to Slack |
| SMS reminders | Sends a text reminder to attendees who ask for one when they book. | SMS meeting reminders |
The SMS reminders section appears only when text messaging has been set up for the site.
Reconnect required under Google Calendar means Magpie no longer has permission to read your Google calendar. Until you reconnect, Google events do not show on Calendar and Google busy times do not block meeting choices.
Disconnecting a service stops Magpie sending anything further to it. Meetings in Magpie stay as they are, and Google Calendar events, Zoom links and Slack messages already created are not deleted.
The mobile app shows each connection's status; see Review integration status in the mobile app. If a connection shows the wrong status after you reload the page, Contact support.
