Request a meeting
Send one person a direct invitation to choose a time from your meeting page.
Send meeting page in the page bar of Meetings sends your meeting page's link to one person by email. It appears once your meeting page is open to visitors (see Set up and share your meeting page), and opens a panel at the side of the page.
Enter the person's name and email address. Choose a meeting type when the link should lead to one meeting choice, or leave it on Any active meeting type so the person can choose from all of them. With a meeting type chosen, you can also pick a Preferred day: the link will open that meeting type's calendar on that day, and the email will name it as the suggested date. Add a note if the person needs context; it will appear in the email. Then choose Send meeting link. The email's Choose a time button opens the link.
When text reminders are on for your account (see SMS meeting reminders), tick Also send them a text message and enter their phone number. Texts go to US and Canadian numbers only; Magpie will not send the invitation if the number is from another country, and you can untick the text and send it by email alone. If your account has reached its monthly text limit, or the text cannot be delivered, the email is still sent and the page says the text was not.
The invitation does not reserve a time. The person must open the link and schedule the meeting, and someone else can take the time first. The resulting meeting appears in All Meetings like one made directly from the public page.
If the link opens without the expected meeting type, check that the type still exists and is active. For an invitation that repeatedly fails to send, Contact support.
