In Magpie öffnen

Open Integrations (under Meetings), choose Connect in the Slack section, and allow access in Slack. Nothing is sent until you choose a destination and at least one notification; until then, the section says so.

Where notifications go

  • Channel posts each notification to one Slack channel.
  • Direct message also sends it to one Slack member.

Use either or both. No channel and No direct messages turn each one off. A private channel appears in Channel only after the Magpie app has been added to it in Slack; add it there, then reload Integrations.

Which changes notify

Each of these has a switch, and all are on when you connect:

  • New meetings: someone books time with you.
  • Meeting confirmed: you confirm a meeting.
  • Meeting cancelled: a meeting is cancelled.
  • Meeting rescheduled: a meeting's time changes.
  • Zoom link added: a Zoom call is created for a meeting.

Turning a switch off stops that notification without disconnecting Slack.

In the mobile app, More and then Notification settings changes the channel, the direct message and the switches once Slack is connected; see Change notification settings in the mobile app. Connecting Slack is done on the website.

Disconnect

Disconnect stops all meeting notifications to Slack. It does not change meetings or delete messages already posted.

If notifications are switched on and addressed to a channel or person but still do not arrive, Contact support.
