RSS Reader collects new items from subscriptions you follow. Add an RSS or Atom feed URL, or paste an ordinary website address and RSS Reader will look for a discoverable feed. You can also add a Bluesky handle or profile as a subscription.

The timeline combines entries in publication order. Filter it to unread entries or one subscription, and choose the preview, compact, or expanded display. RSS Reader stores the unread filter and display choice with the account so they follow you between browsers. The current subscription is shown above the timeline. Use Show all subscriptions to leave that subscription's entries.

RSS Reader checks subscriptions for new entries in the background. A subscription can temporarily fail because its site is unavailable or its feed is invalid; RSS Reader keeps the existing entries and shows the error beside that subscription. Use Try again there to check that subscription now. Removing a subscription takes it and its entries out of RSS Reader. The mobile subscription list shows when each source was last checked. If a check failed, it shows the failed date, the last successful date when known, and Try again. The existing entries remain available while the source is unreachable.

RSS Reader sanitizes feed HTML and may omit unsupported embedded content. Remote images remain blocked until you choose Load image from publisher, which prevents a publisher-hosted image from loading merely because you opened Reader. Open the original entry when its full interactive page is needed. Free and Pro plans have different subscription limits.

The Workspace assistant can search your stored Reader entries by title, author, feed, or text and filter them by read state or date. It reads this stored content only; it does not mark entries read or change subscriptions.

If a normal website is not discovered, try its explicit feed address. For a valid public feed that RSS Reader consistently refuses, Contact support.
