Capture a screen, window or tab, add microphone audio, and place a camera view in the video. Tab or window sound is chosen separately in the browser's sharing chooser. Keep the recorder page open while the browser finishes and uploads the file.
Cuts and timed image overlays
Trim the start or end, split and remove a middle segment, or position image overlays on the timeline. Saved edits change shared playback and the final downloaded MP4, while preserving the original recording.

How long can I record?
Free allows one recording a week of up to three minutes. Pro allows recordings up to 30 minutes without a weekly count limit. Both use the plan's shared file-storage allowance.
Who can open a recording?
Anyone with its live share link can view it. The link does not require named-recipient access. Turning off Magpie's Download button does not prevent a viewer from using browser video controls.
Can I see who watched?
Analytics reports aggregate views, watch progress, link clicks and downloads. It does not identify individual viewers.
Can I use the native app?
Upload a device video, watch recordings, change share page settings and review aggregate analytics. Share the viewing link or final MP4 with saved edits. Browser capture and the video editor use the website.
