Find a setting
Search every setting by its name or by what you want to change, see what it is set to, and jump to its row.
Each setting is on its area's settings page: your time zone on Account settings, a store's currency on Store settings, a team's colour on the team page. The settings search finds a setting wherever it is and shows what it is set to.
Search from a settings page
Every settings page has Search all settings above its first band. Type the name of the setting or what you want to change, such as wrong time, stop emails or pay by card. Results will appear under the field as you type. Each result names the setting, the page and band it is on, and its current value.
- A result on the page you are on will scroll to its row and mark it.
- A result on another page will open that page at the row.
- Press Escape to clear the search.
Results cover your account and the Personal or team context your tab is in. To find a setting of another team, switch to it with the Personal or team selector first.
Search from anywhere
Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl K (Windows), or select Search in the sidebar, and type. Matching settings will appear in a Settings group between the pages and your work, with the page and the current value beside each one. Choosing one opens the page at the row.
The search page at /settings/search has the same results without JavaScript
and can be linked to.
Link to a setting
Point at a setting's title and select # to get an address that opens the page at that row. Anyone with access to the page can use it.
What the search covers
Account settings, Calendar settings, Integrations, Issue email settings, the team page, Plan and billing, Payments, and the settings pages of Store, Invoicing, Expenses, Newsletter, Supporters, Social Media, Link-In-Bio List, Hiring, Accounting, Appointments and its Booking Page, Daily Operations, Inventory, Proposals, Staff Scheduling (with its scheduling rules and shift notifications) and Walkie Talkie. A record's own settings, such as one podcast's or one board's, are on that record and are not in the search. Help articles that match the same words appear under the settings.
If a setting exists and the search cannot find it, Contact support.
