Approve booking requests and see resource use
Team admins approve or decline Resource Booking requests and compare booked time with each resource's open hours.
Requests and Reports in Resource Booking are for team admins. A resource needs approval when its Bookings detail is set to Need an admin's approval; see Add resources and set their hours and rules.
Approve or decline requests
When other people's requests are waiting, the Resource Booking page says how many and links to Requests. Requests lists each waiting request with its time, resource, title and who asked, with Approve and Decline. The same buttons are on the booking's own page, beside its title.
Approving checks the time against the resource's rules, unavailable times and other bookings again, so a request that no longer fits cannot be approved. Declining asks you to confirm; the person sees the booking as Declined on My Bookings. Magpie does not send a message either way.
A request you made yourself has to be approved by another team admin.
Reports
Reports shows, for each resource, the confirmed booking time and the open hours between two dates, and Used: booked time as a share of open hours. It starts with the current month to date; choose other dates and then Show dates. It counts bookings, not whether people turned up.
Mobile app
Waiting requests appear at the top of the Resource Booking list for admins, who can also open Requests and Reports from the menu. Approve is in a booking's header and Decline in its menu; an admin's own request still needs another admin.
