Keep brand assets in the Brand section
Organize logos, colors, typography, files and guidance for a brand.
Brand Kit is the Brand section of a Document a Design System. You can view a Brand Kit in a team you belong to and edit it when that team's resource permissions allow it.
Open the Brand section
Choose Personal or a team, open Design System, open a system and select Brand. Every Design System has one Brand Kit, created with it and starting private. To keep several brands in a team, create a Design System for each.
Click the name, description or a displayed value to change it. Changes save immediately. In a text section, use Markdown for guidelines, voice, messaging or contact information. Press Ctrl/Cmd+Enter or leave the editor to save. Contact information is entered explicitly; your account email is not added.
Add logos and assets
In Logos or Assets, select Add asset and name the variant, such as Primary logo or White wordmark. Choose an image from your existing library or upload one through the image picker. Each item can have several files, so you can add PNG and SVG sources to the same variant.
Use Choose file for an existing file, or Upload SVG, document or font. The file uploader accepts SVG, PDF, ZIP, WOFF, WOFF2, TTF and OTF. Files must be no larger than 25MB; SVGs must be no larger than 2MB and contain no scripts, external references or style blocks. Use element attributes for SVG styling. Brand Kit does not generate new download formats.
Add a description, recommended usage, light or dark background preference, minimum width, clear-space instructions or logo-misuse notes on the item. Replace a source file with the item's Replace action, or choose a file to replace in the upload drawer. The label and guidance will be kept.
Images and files remain in your account libraries. Reusing them creates references rather than copies. Removing an item or section, or deleting the Design System, keeps the underlying files. Deleting a library file makes it unavailable in the kit.
Colors and typography
Add a color with a name and HEX value. RGB and HSL are calculated from HEX. Click HEX or RGB to copy it. Role, notes and manually entered CMYK are optional.
Add typography entries for roles such as Heading or Body, then enter the font family, weight, style, source address and notes. Previews use locally available fonts with a browser fallback. Font files are optional downloads; they are not loaded automatically. Confirm that you have permission to share an uploaded font, or use its name and a source link.
Sections and ordering
Add section creates a text, asset, color, typography or link section. Use asset sections for simple groups such as Screenshots, Social media or Press images. New sections and items start hidden from the public page. Voice also starts hidden. A section's Show section control and an item's Show item control must both be on for that item to appear in a shared page.
Drag a Move handle or use Move up and Move down to reorder sections and items. Search a kit by item name, filename or description; search the kit list by brand name.
Share and download
Preview public page shows only sections and items marked for sharing, even while the Brand Kit is private. Share and Copy share link provide its stable address. The Design System has its own sharing setting; this one applies to the Brand Kit page, shown as Share Brand Kit. Copying a link does not change visibility.
A private kit can be opened only by members of the owning team. Anyone with the address can open an unlisted or public kit, without signing in. Search engines are asked not to index unlisted pages; public pages can be indexed.
An asset marked Downloadable has individual download links and is included in Download brand assets. The ZIP contains only downloadable files in sections and items marked for sharing. ZIPs are limited to 1,000 files and 250MB. A view-only image can still be saved from a browser; this setting removes download controls rather than providing copy protection.
If a kit or file cannot be opened, check the selected team and its sharing controls, then Contact support.
