Issue list, board and saved views
Search and filter issues, sort and group the list, move issues on the board, save views and change many issues at once.
The Issues page lists the issues in Personal or the selected team, with columns for the identifier, title and labels, status, priority, assignee, project and last update. Use Next and Previous below the list to see more.
Quick views, search and filters
The choices above the list show All issues, the ones Assigned to me, the ones Created by me, Active work (statuses in the Started category), Backlog (statuses in the Backlog category), or Recently completed issues.
The search box matches titles, descriptions, label names and comment text.
Type a whole identifier, such as MAG-12, to find that one issue. Beside the
search box, filter by status, priority, assignee, project or label; the
project and label filters appear once the team has projects or labels. A
filter applies as soon as you choose it, and Clear filters removes them.
Sort and group
Open Display to sort by Recently updated, Recently created, Due date or Priority, and to group the rows by Status, Project or Assignee. Each group shows how many issues it has.
The board
Choose Board at the top of the page to see the issues in a column for each status, in the team's workflow order, and List to return. A card shows the title, priority, assignee, identifier and project. The board shows the most recently updated issues first, a page at a time.
Members who can edit drag a card to another column, or choose the move button on the card and pick a status. Either way the issue's status changes and the change is recorded in its activity. The board does not use the list's filters; to see a filtered board, save a view with Board as its display.
Saved views
Set up the filters, sort and grouping you want, then choose More, then Save current filters as a view. You can also choose Create view on Saved views. A view has:
- Name
- Who can see it: Only me, or Team, which needs edit access
- Group by and Sort
- Display: List or Board
- the quick view, search text and filters
Saved views lists your own views and the views shared with the team. Choose one to open it; its name becomes the page title. Choose Edit or Remove beside a view you made. A view shared by another member can be opened but not changed.
Change many issues at once
Members who can edit select issues with the checkbox at the start of each row, or with the checkbox in the column heading to select every issue on the page. A bar above the list shows how many are selected. Choose Status, Priority, Assignee, Project, Cycle or Labels in the bar, then the new value; under Labels, choose a label to add or to remove. Cycle appears when cycle planning is on, and Project and Labels appear once the team has projects or labels. Clear selection unticks them all.
The change applies to the selected issues on the current page and is recorded in each issue's activity. Moving an issue to another project clears its milestone; its identifier does not change.
