Coaching cohorts
Coach a group through a program together, with group sessions and a conversation.
A cohort is a group of clients who go through one program together. Each keeps their own coaching; the cohort adds a shared start, group sessions and a conversation.
Cohorts
A cohort is a group of clients who go through one program together from the same start date. In Cohorts, choose New cohort, then a program, a name and a start date. The start date is day 0 of the program for every member, so it cannot change once the cohort has members.
On the cohort's page, Add member asks for a name and an email address. Their coaching starts on the program and they are invited to their portal, as Start coaching does. A client already added as a draft on the program, or with no program, can be added from the same drawer. Someone added after the start date starts on the cohort's date, with everything the program released since then; tick Start from today to start them that day instead. Each member keeps their own goals, journal and messages with you. Members shows each one's progress side by side; open a member for their coaching.
Schedule group session invites every member. A session on Video Chat holds up to 6 people with you; for more, give a Zoom, Google Meet or other link. Group sessions do not count towards a member's sessions. Once a session has started, open it to record who attended.
The Conversation is announcements from you, open to everyone, or off; change it in Edit details…, beside Places, the most members the cohort takes. Members see each other by first name and last initial unless they choose another name, and are emailed when someone writes unless they turn it off. Finish cohort in More ends the cohort; its members' coaching goes on.
