Hiring settings
Change your job board's name, introduction and time zone, the confirmation email to applicants, and where candidates' replies go.
Open Hiring → Settings. Each change saves on its own. Personal and each team have their own settings. The job board and its settings are created with the first job; until then the page has none.
Job board
- Name on the job board is the name candidates see on the job board, on job pages and in emails. It starts as the team's name, or your name in Personal.
- Introduction is shown on the job board, above the list of published jobs.
- Address is the job board's address, with Copy and View. It does not change after the job board is created, even when the name does.
- Time zone decides when a job with a closing date stops taking applications: at 11:59 PM on that day in this time zone. It starts as the time zone of the person who created the job board.
Candidate email
- Confirmation email sends an applicant an email saying their application was received. It is on until you turn it off. It does not promise a response time. Rejections and other emails to candidates are never sent automatically.
- Reply-to address is where replies to the confirmation email and to interview invitations go. When it is not set, the confirmation email has no reply-to address, and replies to an interview invitation go to the person who scheduled the interview. Emails written from a candidate's page always use the sender's own address.
