A goal is measured or not:

  • A goal with a target is a number to reach, such as 10,000 for monthly revenue or 5 for new clients. Its progress runs from its start, or 0 when no start is set, to its target. A target below the start works the same way, for a number to bring down.
  • A goal without a target is an outcome, such as launching a course. It is achieved or not.

Open a goal from its plan to set its facts. Click the target, start, unit or target date to change it, or the goal's name to rename it. A unit such as $, kg or clients is shown with each number; a currency sign is shown before it. The goal's More menu moves it up or down in the plan, or deletes it with the values recorded for it.

Record progress

Type where the goal stands now beside it on the plan, or on its page, and choose Record. You can type numbers as 6,500, $6,500 or 12.5. The newest value is where the goal stands, and the bar under the goal shows how far it is from its start to its target. Every value is listed on the goal's page under Recorded values, with who recorded it and when. Remove deletes one; the goal then shows the latest value left.

Clients can record progress on a goal with a target while its plan is active, from the plan in their portal. Their values are listed with their names.

For a goal without a target, choose Mark achieved, or Mark not achieved to undo it. Only your team can mark a goal achieved.
